De Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (NWO) financiert tien wetenschappelijke onderzoeken die tot doel hebben de ethische en maatschappelijke aspecten van innovatietrajecten al aan de ontwerptafel een rol te laten spelen.
NWO heeft een budget van vele miljoen euro’s beschikbaar gesteld voor deze onderzoeken, die aansluiten bij het topsectorenbeleid van de Nederlandse overheid.
