The research of the environmental psychology group focuses understanding environmental behavior, and factors influencing the effects and acceptability of interventions to encourage pro-environmental actions.

The groups studies a wide range of factors and interventions that affect environmental actions, such as household energy use, values, norms, moral considerations, pricing instruments, regulations, and information and education programs.

The environmental psychology group is involved in various interdisciplinary and international projects related to a sustainable energy transition.

Specific topics that are studied by the group are: household energy use, smart grids, bottom-up initiatives, electric vehicles and fossil and renewable sources of energy.
